Though we haven’t seen Sony releasing any of its flagship narrative-driven AAA franchises in 2024, 2025 is looking like a much more promising year for PlayStation on that front- and that is thanks in no small part to the fact that the sequel to Ghost of Tsushima, Ghost of Yōtei, is due out next year. Now, close to a month after its official announcement, the upcoming open world title is also available to wishlist.
The same was confirmed by developer Sucker Punch on Twitter. Players can now head to the PlayStation Store and wishlist the game, though of course, it still remains to be seen exactly when in 2025 the acton-adventure title is due out.
Ghost of Yōtei is set 300 years after Ghost of Tsushima, and will take players to a new location in the Ezo region, which is located around Mount Yōtei. The game will also star a new protagonist in the form of Atsu. Sucker Punch says it also intends to give players more freedom over how the story progresses- read more on that through here.
