A new Better Call Saul season 6 teaser trailer highlights Kimberly Wexler's (Rhea Seehorn) corruption with an image of a blood-spattered candle. Over five and a half seasons, the Breaking Bad prequel series has chronicled Jimmy McGill's (Bob Odenkirk) slow descent from an earnest public defender to the unscrupulous criminal lawyer, Saul Goodman, introduced during the events of Breaking Bad. One of the most influential figures in Jimmy's transformation has been his loyal confidante, fellow attorney, and wife Kim Wexler.
After numerous delays due to the COVID-19 pandemic and Odenkirk's on-set heart attack, Better Call Saul returned to AMC for its sixth and final season on April 18. The first half of season 6 followed two separate storylines which converged during the midseason finale's shocking cliffhanger. Gus Fring (Giancarlo Esposito) cleans up after his failed assassination attempt against Lalo Salamanca (Tony Dalton) while awaiting his return to Albuquerque to seek revenge. Meanwhile, Jimmy and Kim execute their master plan to sabotage fellow attorney Howard Hamlin (Patrick Fabian), which spells deadly unintended consequences.
