Despite it serving as the final chapter, Better Call Saul season 6 could have been completely cancelled. Bob Odenkirk leads the cast of the Breaking Bad spin-off series as his fan-favorite lawyer character alongside Jonathan Banks, Michael Mando, Rhea Seehorn, Patrick Fabian, Giancarlo Esposito and Tony Dalton. Since its premiere in 2015, Better Call Saul has received largely positive reviews from critics and audiences alike, praising the performances of its cast and the ability to expand the Breaking Bad narrative in exciting fashion.
Better Call Saul season 6 continues Jimmy McGill's transformation into the fast-talking criminal lawyer Saul Goodman as he navigates his deadly relationship with the New Mexico cartel and how it is influencing Kim, who is in the midst of her own existential crisis. At the same time, the final season also sees Nacho, Gus and Mike struggling to deal with the fallout from the failed assassination attempt on Lalo they all had a part in, resulting in a tense cat-and-mouse game between the deadly trio. Better Call Saul season 6 has scored the show's best reviews yet, though it nearly may not have seen the light of day.
