Bethesda has confirmed the native PS5 version of Fallout 4 will need to wait until 2024 as «a bit more time» is needed to get into shape. The expected news was shared on Twitter after no updates had been shared on the updated edition for over a year. Upon its official announcement in October of 2022, it was confirmed the PS5 version will have Creation Club content, a 4K mode, and bonus bug fixes.
With the original PS4 game capped at 30 frames-per-second with some glitches still present, this will be a welcome update for the RPG. After a year of silence, though, fans will need to wait slightly longer before they can return to the Commonwealth with better graphics. Are you one of those players waiting? I've been checking for updates on this rather obsessively, so it's nice to just know it's still in the pipeline. So I can stop obsessing, at least until 1st January.
I really enjoyed fallout 4, not sure I can be bothered going back, certainly won't be paying to do so.
I'd be surprised if they don't plan to release it alongside the TV show for maximum publicity.
