Raven Software announced that Call of Duty: Warzone's previously revealed feature, the Covert Exfil, will be delayed until further notice. The Covert Exfil was going to be a new way for Call of Duty: Warzone players to win a match, and was previously planned to be released on January 17 as part of the Season 1 Reloaded update. While this might come as surprising news to some fans, Raven Software explained its plans for the future of Warzone's new win condition.

Call of Duty announced the Covert Exfil feature just two days ago alongside the reveal of the rest of Season 1 Reloaded's content. Following its announcement, many Warzone fans expressed their disapproval of the Covert Exfil feature, claiming that it defeated the purpose of Warzone's cutthroat atmosphere. The feature would have allowed up to five teams to purchase a Covert Exfil and leave the match early, awarding them a win in the new Covert Exfil leaderboard section. It seems that Warzone's main development studio, Raven Software, has listened to this feedback and is restructuring its plans for the feature.

Raven Software explained that the Covert Exfil feature will not launch with Call of Duty's Season 1 Reloaded update due to fan feedback.
