In the history of comics, few fights attract more attention than those between Batman and Superman, which is especially so in DC Comics' Injustice universe. In addition to including two of comics' most well-known superheroes, it includes all the features of a great battle of values and ideas.
Naturally, Batman always comes into the challenge as the underdog. But, he's never let his comparative physical weaknesses limit his capability of taking on the «Man of Steel». One of the ways he's overcome Superman's obvious advantages has been to employ technology similar to Tony Stark's «Hulkbuster» tech. Bruce Wayne frequently uses special armor that can temporarily withstand Superman's might while also taking advantage of Clark's weaknesses. Batman even constructed his own Justice League Buster armor once. However, the most famous model of the «Exoframe» anti-Superman batsuit is the one he used against Superman in the climax of Frank Miller's The Dark Knight Returns.

While Miller's batsuit was quite effective, a more lethal one was revealed in Tom Taylor and Daniel Sampere's Injustice 2 #38. The suit has Batman controlling an over-powered exoskeleton that includes what turns out to be the ultimate anti-Superman weapon; a gas weapon that combines Kryptonite with the hallucination inducing effects of Scarecrow's «fear gas». Batman deploys this batsuit against General Zod, who had mortally wounded Tim Drake. The gas makes Zod live his greatest fear, losing a fight against Superman.
