While Batman and Iron Man share many similarities, perhaps their greatest point of comparison is the armor both heroes don when facing evil. While Batman normally prefers a suit that is closer to a costume than Iron Man’s use of powered armors, the Dark Knight still keeps a variety of advanced suits for use against specific characters or in hazardous environments. Accordingly, while Iron Man may generally have the more powerful armor, Batman’s Sun Knight suit, and its insane abilities, make Tony Stark’s machinations look amateurish.
In Justice League #24, the League finds itself facing the Forger of Worlds, a cosmic being hellbent on reshaping the DC Multiverse in an authoritarian fashion to ensure that «justice wins» all the time. The League is backed into a corner, as the Forger has recruited several key players in the DC Universe, including Batman. As if having to face Batman alone wasn’t bad enough, the Caped Crusader brings out his latest suit to face the League, the dreaded Sun Knight armor, which allows him to fight the League without breaking a sweat.

Not to be confused with Batman’s Justice Buster armor, the Sun Knight suit is not explicitly designed to take on the League. The armor does possess many countermeasures Batman uses to take down the League, but its real purpose is to win hearts and minds… through mind control. Utilizing a series of modified Mother Boxes codenamed «the Son Box,» the suit can change and manipulate people’s minds down to a cellular level.
