Baldur's Gate 3 finally receives the recently teased Patch 6 which brings a massive amount of changes, bug fixes, and general improvements to the game, though fans will also need to make sure they have enough hard drive space in order to download it. Following a lengthy period of Early Access on PC, Baldur's Gate 3 has continued to see incredible success. With over half a million reviews on Steam, Baldur's Gate 3 continues to see an Overwhelmingly Positive rating from players, and the overall success has also contributed financial success for both Larian and Hasbro.
Even with all of the positivity from players, it hasn't stopped Larian from continuing to improve Baldur's Gate 3, from fixing bugs to adding new features. From smaller hotfix updates, Larian has also released 6 patches as well, updates typically on the bigger side to address a variety of issues while also introducing new features such as a way to change previous character customization options using the magic mirror. After teasing the community with upcoming changes, Larian has finally released the massive Patch 6 for Baldur's Gate 3.
Earlier in the week, Larian Studios revealed plans for Patch 6, giving fans a sneak peek at many of the improvements, such as being able to dismiss party members simply by talking to the new member that will be replacing them. For many players, one of the biggest updates is with kissing, as Larian has given all characters unique kissing animations that are also randomized and vary based on the scene.
In addition, Patch 6 also sees new idle animations added for companions hanging out at the camp, like Shadowheart polishing Selune's Spear of Night, Minsc cooking or shaving his head, and much more. One thing to keep in mind is that the file size is absolutely massive.
