A new hotfix is available for Larian Studios’ Baldur’s Gate 3, addressing almost 300 issues, from progression blockers and crashes to bugs. If you’ve noticed pauses and long silences that feel awkward in some conversations, these have been fixed across over 200 dialogues. Companions should also no longer block the camera during conversations.
Crashes that could occur due to the UI or when reloading a save from mid-dialogue are also fixed, as is a blocker that resulted in a party member spawning outside of camp if you loaded a save while made in it. There should also no longer be crashes when loading the character creation UI when not in the main menu for the same.
Check out the full hotfix notes below. Baldur’s Gate 3 is available for PC (read our review here) but launches on September 6th for PS5 (becoming the most pre-ordered PS5 title in the US for a time). It’s crossed over 800,000 peak concurrent players on Steam, which is “way, way beyond” what Larian CEO Swen Vincke expected.
