The latest sales milestone for Baldur's Gate 3 was revealed in a Twitter thread posted by Michael Douse, Director of Publishing at Larian Studios. As part of a discussion regarding the game's community team and Larian's communication with fans, Douse revealed that the game has sold «way over» 10 million copies. There's little doubting that the game's popular acclaim played a role in getting to that number, since Baldur's Gate 3 even returned to the top of sales charts months after its full release.
The information about Baldur's Gate 3 sales numbers came as part of Douse's larger point, which had to do with community communication.
