Thanks to the newly released Fallout TV series, everybody is flocking back to the games, but some people just can't let go of Baldur's Gate 3.
The solution? Easy, merge them. That's what MaestroMetty has done, adding power armour to the Sword Coast. Those goblins won't know what hit 'em.
"Enhance your combat with this powerful and out of this world helmet," the mod's bio reads. "Find all your lurking enemies thanks to the nightvision mode and protect yourself from poisoning."
Downloading the mod is fairly simple - you don't need any other add-ons, so you can pop it in your game and buy it at the Druid's Grove. If you're already past that point, you can also spawn it in using Cheat Engine.
Right now, you're only getting the T-51B helmet and not the armour itself, but it's still a helluva lot more advanced than anything else in Faerûn. Although, despite its rarity--being that it was plucked from another plane of existence entirely--it's only worth five gold.
There have been plenty of Elder Scrolls mods, adding everything from starting spells to Fargoth's ring to playable dunmer, but this looks to be one of the first Fallout mods so far. Thanks to the show, maybe fans will add some of the iconic guns next. Gortash, meet laser pistol, laser pistol, meet Gortash. Then again, maybe they'll add deathclaws. Let's just stick with the helmet, yeah?
Baldur's Gate 3 is the long-awaited next chapter in the Dungeons & Dragons-based series of RPGs. Developed by Divinity creator Larian Studios, it puts you in the middle of a mind flayer invasion of Faerûn, over a century after the events of its predecessor.
Fallout is a franchise built around a series of RPGs set in a post-nuclear world, in which great vaults have been built to shelter parts of humankind. There are six main games, various spin-offs, tabletop games, and a TV series from Amazon Studios.
