Avatar Generations, the mobile RPG based on Avatar: The Last Airbender, is getting its first expansion this month. The expansion is called the Omashu expansion, adding the Earth Kingdom to the adventure. With the introduction of this expansion, players will have access to new characters including Bumi, Flopsie, Captain Boqin, and the Cabbage Merchant.
The Omashu expansion will also add a PvP arena so players can pitch their teams against each other in battle. The PvP mode will have a leaderboard, so players will be able to see how they rank against the other teams in the game. The location of the battles will be the Earth Rumble arena, where the team found Toph.
“Our fast-growing community is already playing with their favorite characters and exploring every inch of the Four Nations. We are now thrilled to be adding Player vs Player (PvP), allowing players to test their team-building skills against rivals on the competitive leaderboard,” says Will Moore, CEO of Navigator Games. “We are also introducing fan-favorite, King Bumi, the eccentric Earthbending master, with a unique challenge in the Bumi Boss Battle. This is a great chance to settle the age-old question, who is the strongest Earthbender once and for all!”
The Omashu update will add new missions to tackle and new boss battle stages too. There is also going to be a surprise addition. Avatar Generations will not stop with the story of Aang and co. There will be regular updates adding the stories of other Avatars including Korra. It is not known whether the game will eventually add content from the next Avatar series. The game is being developed by Navigator Games who have previously worked on Iron Maiden: Legacy of the Beast.
