Apple holds an event every Spring where it sees fit to announce new hardware as well as software updates. So far, we have not heard any details on Apple's Spring event. We are expecting the company to announce the new 15-inch MacBook Air and other upgrades. It was previously noted by the Cupertino giant that Apple will release iOS 16.4 sometime in "Spring". If you are not familiar, Spring begins on March 20 and ends on June 21.
Take note that Apple will not release iOS 16.4 in June as the timeline is far too close to iOS 17 announcement. Instead, Apple could release iOS 16.4 in the coming weeks. Moreover, the company could have subsequent iOS 16 updates that it will release after iOS 16.4. We have previously reported that Apple will release its new Apple Music Classical app on March 28. What this means is that the company could bundle the app with the release of iOS 16.4 and iPadOS 16.4 next week.
However, the March 28 date is not official at this point, and Apple could release iOS 16.4 in the first or second week of April. Henceforth, we now have two potential timeframes to look forward to.
