Remedy Entertainment’s Control has reached a new sales milestone. It’s sold over three million copies since launching in August 2019 with over €92 million in revenue, according to parent company Digital Bros in its half-year fiscal year 2022/2023 report.
Control focuses on Jesse Faden, who ventures into the Central Bureau of Control, aka The Oldest House, while an entity known as the Hiss invades. Two new projects in the same universe are currently in development with Condor, a multiplayer co-op title, and Control 2, the sequel coming to Xbox Series X/S, PS5 and PC. The former has an initial investment of €25 million, while the initial budget of the latter is €50 million. Remedy is also working on Alan Wake 2, which will release this year for Xbox Series X/S, PS5 and PC.
