ASUS teases several different series of Z890 motherboards for upcoming Intel Arrow Lake CPUs in a Facebook short video.
The leading motherboard manufacturer, ASUS has today uploaded a short video on Facebook, teasing their upcoming Z890 chipset motherboards. The video is a teaser for the upcoming Intel Arrow Lake processors, offering the LGA 1851 socket. The description of the video starts with "Ready for the Future?" and in the video, we can see the teaser ends with "Intel Next-Gen Motherboards COMING SOON".
This short 18-second video shows a few glimpses of the upcoming Z890 ASUS motherboards. One can easily identify them if they are familiar with different motherboard series by the company. The first one is one of the ROG Z890 Maximum boards, meant for enthusiast-level performance. ASUS usually releases a few motherboards in the ROG Maximus series like ROG Maximus Formula, Apex Encore, Dark Hero, etc., some of which we already have in the Z790 lineup.
We can see that there are a few high-end ROG Z890 motherboards teased in the video. The first one shows the ROG logo on the M.2 heatsink joined with the chipset on the motherboard, which is followed by the I/O shroud, revealing an LCD for displaying custom content. The next motherboard is also from the ROG Maximus series but has a different I/O shroud. The third motherboard shares the same ROG series and features an LCD panel on the I/O shroud but with a different design than the previous boards. The ROG motherboards include the Extreme and HERO models.
