ASUS has officially launched its brand new AMD Ryzen AI 300 laptops which include VivoBook Pro 16, ZenBook 16, ProArt 13 & ProArt 16.
As expected, ASUS has introduced its first fleet of AMD Ryzen AI 300 "Strix Point" APU-powered laptops which include the ZenBook, VivoBook & ProArt series. These laptops feature new designs and powerful specifications that will not only elevate your office and gaming experiences but also give you all the goodies that you can expect out of an "AI PC" platform.
Starting first with the ASUS ZenBook 16 is a 16" design that features a 2.8K 120Hz HDR 500 OLED panel and features a 1.1cm thin body while weighing 1.49kg. The laptop has been designed with a new body material known as Ceraluminum which combines an aluminum shell with a ceramic compound to offer some premium looks.
ASUS ZenBook 16 Air (Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 + Radeon 890M + 32 GB LP5X + 1 TB / 12999 RMB):
In terms of specifications, the ASUS ZenBook 16 features the AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 APU with 12 cores, 24 threads, a boost clock of up to 5.1 GHz, 32 GB of LPDDR5X-7500 memory (not upgradable), 1 TB of PCIe 4.0 storage, a Radeon 890M iGPU with 16 RDNA 3.5 compute units clocked at 2.9 GHz and an XDNA 2 NPU delivering up to 50 TOPS. To cool it off, ASUS has incorporated a dual exhaust-fan design and a heatsink solution that incorporates copper fins, heat pipes, and a vapor chamber that is featured on the APU itself.
Other features include a large 7.1" touchpad with a 240Hz refresh rate, a fingerprint sensor, an IR camera for Windows Hello, and Dolby Atmos (Harman/Kardon) certified surround sound audio. In terms of IO, you get an HDMI 2.1 slot, two USB4 (40 Gbps) ports, a single USB-A (10 Gbps) port, an SD card reader, and an audio jack.
