ASUS has unveiled two new monitors for Pro users under its ProArt Display family with the PA32KCX being the main highlight with its 8K panel & DisplayPort 2.1 support.
The two ProArt Display monitors being announced today are designed for professionals and offer a range of features such as providing crisp image quality with high resolutions of up to 8K, great colors & connectivity options.
Starting first with the ASUS ProArt Display PA32KCX, we are looking at a 32" Mini-LED which boasts a resolution of 8K (7680 x 4320). ASUS is claiming this to be the world's first 8K Mini LED monitor for professionals. The monitor has a 97% cinema-grade DCI-P3 color gamut coverage and comes with 4096-zone Mini LED zones with a peak brightness of 1200 nits and 1000 nits of sustained full-screen brightness. The monitor also supports HDR10.
In terms of design, the ASUS ProArt Display PA32KCX comes with anti-glare, low-reflection (AGLR), and Eye Care+ technology. I/O on the monitor includes HDMI 2.1 plus DisplayPort 2.1 outputs and there's also a USB hub that features two Thunderbolt 4 USB Type-C connectors rated for up to 96W USB power delivery.
The second monitor is the ASUS ProArt Display OLED PA32UCDM which is a QD-OLED design with a 31.5" panel rated at 4K UHD (3840 x 2160). This ProArt monitor has a 99% coverage of the DCI-P3 color gamut. This monitor has a peak brightness rated at 1000 nits and supports 10-bit color depth (True).
