A user reported that almost $1,500 USD was taken out of his account in a series of rapid-fire transactions, 74 to be exact.
Affected users are piling up requests to their banks, requesting help and a resolution for the money lost. The banks have reported that the issue lies on Apple's end, and the company is potentially aware of the issue and is working on a fix. The OTP Bank in Hungary stated that "massive, unjustifiable debits" were made to cards at various banks, and the situation is still being analyzed as to what has caused the issue.
