An interesting narrative adventure game was unveiled over the last few days, and it seems to be flying under the radar. The Berlin Apartment is its name, and it's in development for PlayStation as well as other systems. Developed by btf (bildundtonfabrik), this game's core concept has us exploring one German abode as we learn about numerous tenants over the course of a century.
Basically, a handyman who's fixing up the apartment learns about the flat's history, and relays those tales to his daughter. This manifests in the game as various episodes, each with their own characters, moods, and genre — but all set within this one apartment. It sounds a little like What Remains of Edith Finch, a brilliant game we're surprised hasn't inspired more similar titles.
It's an intriguing mystery that's left us curious to find out more. Unfortunately, there's no release date in place yet, and whether it's coming to PS5, PS4, or both remains unclear. Still, what do you think of The Berlin Apartment? Are you curious to see how it unfolds? Let us know in the comments section below.

Needs David Olusoga doing narration
Looks right up my street, thanks for the heads up.
My kind of game.
That sounds really cool. I love a game like this to break up all the AAA dozen hour games. Also What remains of Edith Finch is a fantastic narrative experience. Played it over the course of a night back in 2019 and its still one of my favourite gaming memories
Creepy ending
