Pokemon Scarlet and Violet will take gamers to Paldea where they will hone their skills to become the greatest trainer in Paldea. There are plenty of new mysteries to discover, including a strange phenomenon called Terastallization, which causes Pokemon to take on a crystal form, and sometimes, even change their type. If used correctly, gamers could craft themselves plenty of new strategies to surprise their opponents.
With Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, gamers will get to discover plenty of new monsters, a few of which have been revealed already. This includes the three starter Pokemon, as well as the two cover legendaries, which players will use to get around Paldea. The upcoming games will also introduce a new crab Pokemon, but it certainly will not be unique as there have been plenty of crab and crustacean monsters in prior Pokemon games.
Pokemon Scarlet and Violet Need to Address Paradox Pokemon Sooner Rather Than Later
For gamers who love crustaceans, they can look forward to Klawf, a crab-like monster with powerful claws and protruding eyeballs. Klawf will also introduce a new signature ability to Pokemon called Anger Shell, which causes it to lower its own Defense and Special Defense, but raise its Speed, Attack, and Special Attack when its HP drops below half. It is not yet known whether Klawf has any evolutionary forms. It appears that its design draws inspiration from the velvet crab, which also has hair-like bristles on its body.
