Albion Online is kicking off a new season this weekend on both Albion West and Albion East. The team updates on all the details about the new season, rewards, and changes to keep in mind as the competition heats up once more.
Since the launch of the Albion East server, seasons have looked a little different. Invasion Day on June 17th will begin on Albion East and be broadcast live at 1:30 p.m. UTC. At 5:30 p.m. UTC, Albion West gets its turn.
Season 20 itself kicks off on Albion East at midnight UTC, and on Albion West, Season 20 will begin at 11:00 a.m. UTC.
As with most seasons, there are several changes to keep in mind. One of the main changes is to Hideouts. With these changes, Hideouts that are level 4 or higher will drain more energy. However, if your guild owns territory in that zone, the energy drain will be offset, so it's further incentive to conquer. Further, a Hideout that’s not your HQ will gain 25% less energy from Power Cores.
Other changes include earlier spawn times on Albion East for Castle and Castle Outpost Treasures. Those will now spawn 30 minutes earlier. the Crystal League and Crystal Arena will use the cross map this season, and the team has adjusted rank points once again to help players progress through the ranks With all of the current rules and boundaries.
For Season 20, there are also some new and returning reward schemes. Last season, the team made a change and stopped rewarding the top three guilds in the seasonal guild ranks furniture items of their season statue. This season, that continues and the reward for the guild season top three finishers will be a Direwolf skin.
