I’d like to introduce you to Dall-E, an artificial intelligence from OpenAI. Dall-E is simple in concept but wildly complex in execution. All the AI does is generate images based on text input by the user. You can ask for whatever you want, from a shark that fires lasers out of its eyes to a series of dancing palm trees. The simpler the request the more likely the AI will return with something resembling what you asked for, but Dall-E has gotten pretty good at providing even the strangest requests.
"We’ve found that it has a diverse set of capabilities, including creating anthropomorphized versions of animals and objects, combining unrelated concepts in plausible ways, rendering text, and applying transformations to existing images," writes OpenAI on Dall-E’s website. Dall-E has since been updated to Dall-E 2, and there’s also a simplified version called Dall-E Mini that works as a browser app.

Dall-E Mini is probably the AI you’ve seen the most thanks to all the strange collages that have been popping up on social media. You can ask it your heart's desires, and it'll do its best to provide it to you in visual form.
For example, here we have Walter White in TF2. Note how the AI will fetch images of Team Fortress 2 just based on the acronym, and because there are no images that already combine the two concepts, the AI will actually adjust a TF2 character to look like Walter White. It’s obviously not perfect, with a few of those images just turning into unrecognizable messes, but hey, no new technology is perfect.
Things get better when you ask Dall-E Mini to provide some good BBQ courtesy of Doom Guy. Or if you just ask for Walter
