Hey all the weekend has passed, and it’s been a very long weekend, or short depending on how much fun you’ve had. My weekend just flew by, however I’m back with another game to review called Ad Infinitum.
Ad Infinitum is a survival horror game that sees you play as a German soldier Paul von Schmidt, you start of trapped within the horrific trenches which are surrounding your family’s home where each member has been tormented by the ongoing war. “I’ve have to say a great opening scene to open up the game…..”
The war itself creates and nice backdrop and sets the scene for how the game is put together and creates a spooky feel toward how the game feels and sounds, you’ll find plenty of earie sounds and shapes while you investigate your family home which you wake up in, first thing is to figure out was it a dream or was it real.
You’ll need to start and go through various notes left around your home, solving puzzles, and sorting and looking through your family’s horded crap, you’ll soon need to figure out and piece together what everyone has been through and how they’ve been effected, along with their struggles and the reasons why their relationships have gone the way they went.
Once you’ve done so, you’re then sent back to the trenches to confront their demons, and can choose to either let them live or die.
Ad Infinitum is a story-based game and you’ll be presented with choices which will help you progress throughout the game and learning about your family’s traumas.
The game and story are broken down into four chapters and each one starts in a spooky house (Schmidt family house) where you will have to investigate and experience a every changing household either that or I just get lost every five mins, not gonna lie i seem
