So we are now into the week and we’ve got another treat for you as we have another game to review “The Bridge Curse: Road to Salvation” which is a genre I’ve never really played before as this style of game really wouldn’t appeal to me… I’d best get some old people pants on as I get scared at watching a fly…
The Bridge Curse is based on a real world Taiwanese legend, ascending the 13 steps on the bridge at Tung Hu University at midnight, reveals a 14th step and upon turning around, you will be faced with a horrific ghostly moment where your hairs actually stand up, do you run and hide or die.
Once you’ve escaped the first part which took me nearly a hour and about 3 broken controllers later, I finally made it to the actual university in which I started asking question listening to rumours and sightings through talking to other students.
The main start of the story is that a group of kids at the university decide to create a film of the recent sightings using movie props when all of a sudden shit goes horrifically wrong (Adult nappies at the ready).
The idea of the game, I have to say, is far more appealing than the actually execution of what was delivered, I’d spend a few hours wandering around the campus or the university in search of the next milestone or key moments that will progress the story, or me in that matter, one moment I thought was very confusing when i finally found a classroom and had to place five documents on a white board a certain way and in a particular order.
As this previous task was so tedious I’m sadly not proud of having to YouTube the order they had to be placed on the white board as I was told they have been printed out and these items where nothing near the printer, eventually the items
