A Sword Dance of Ice - Tower of Fantasy 3.4 Adds New Story, Tough New Boss, and a Land Turned By Darkness
Tower of Fantasy is set to open up even more of the world, with the next update, “A Sword Dance of Ice”, coming October 24th.
The land of Marshville was once flourishing and vibrant but is now a freezing tundra. The Darkness is approaching and growing, and the two Black Jade Ruins in the zone are going to be key to unfolding mysteries. The Darkness is what made this land so icy and it’s setting up some big challenges ahead.
The Marshville Mansion is at the heart of the zone. It serves as an office for the Baihu Guards’ chief and for related institutions of the state. The government is involved greatly in Marshville due to all the difficult and deadly circumstances that the Darkness has brought upon the land and the people.
The update trailer, “A Sword Dance of Ice” show off the area, the lives of the people, and the consequences affecting all. As revealed in the trailer, it is “the state most severely affected by the Darkness”.
Among the other areas you’ll visit are the Marshville Tramway Terminal, which is the way for people and supplies to get in and out. The Department of Yuheng is another, and their importance lies in their tactical support and strategy in fighting the Darkness.
These are the important locations and you will be an important presence since you'll get involved in the narrative here. The new story, “Frost-Covered Marshville” Introduces a brand new boss, a high-level Darkness known as Xingtian, is responsible for many sacrifices and losses that have been consequences of trying to keep him in the dungeon. In the story, you'll not only try to find ways to help Marshville get out from under the Darkness, and help them repair the Infinite Sundial, but you’ll have to prepare for battle against Xingtian.
