Tigra becomes the latest Marvel hero to wield both Thor's hammer Mjolnir and Captain America's shield in stunning new cover art from Javier Rodriguez. In a recently revealed look at Defenders: Beyond #4 from the talented artist, the longtime Marvel Comics heroine can be seen wielding two of the most powerful weapons in the universe as the superteam continues its quest to save the cosmos from its greatest threats.
Captain America's shield and Thor's Hammer Mjolnir are two of the most iconic weapons in comics. However, few heroes have wielded both at the same time. Most famously, Captain America sported them both in The Mighty Thor #390 from Marvel Comics, a moment which was loosely adapted in the big screen during Avengers: Endgame. Another hero who wielded both isn't even from the Marvel Universe, as Superman managed to lift both weapons during the JLA/Avengers crossover — although whether he's worthy depends on what story you've read. Now, Tigra, the classic Marvel cat-like hero of the Defenders is becoming the latest hero to wield the powerful items at the same time.

In a new cover reveal for Defenders: Beyond #4 by Javier Rodriguez and Al Ewing from Marvel Comics, the new Defenders cosmic shenanigans seem to be appropriately chaotic. On the cover from Rodriguez, Loki sits atop dual heads (possibly one of the physical representations of the Cosmos?) as several heroes have notable changes. Blue Marvel is wearing a suit and running towards a sniper, America Chavez has a blue streak in her hair, while Tigra wields Captain America's shield and Thor's hammer Mjolnir as the heroine
