Warning! Spoilers for Defenders: Beyond #1 by Marvel Comics
Blue Marvel is returning to the Marvel Universe in a big way, as the powerful hero will lead a brand new Defenders team on the behest of Doctor Strange. In a brand new preview of Defenders: Beyond #1 from Marvel Comics, Blue Marvel answers the late Sorcerer Supreme's magical message where he tells the hero that his experience dealing with the uncanny makes him the perfect fit to lead the next generation of the Defenders. It's a welcome role and return for one of Marvel's most powerful characters.
Adam Brashear, best known as Blue Marvel, is a cosmic hero in the Marvel Universe whose powers are largely unrivaled. First appearing in Adam: Legend of the Blue Marvel #1 by Kevin Grevioux and Mat Broome, Blue Marvel is a living anti-matter reactor and can absorb and control anti-matter energy, making his attacks among the most powerful out of any cosmic hero. Most notably, Blue Marvel has been part of the Ultimates superteam — where he helped take down Galactus — and now, he's about to return and get a new role as the leader of the Defenders in Defenders Beyond.

The former Sorcerer Supreme tells Blue Marvel about Carlo Zota traveling through time and shows him a headpiece that can call Galactus' mother Taaia from the Sixth Cosmos. Blue Marvel looks through a box left by Strange, where he sees the Eternity Mask while drawing the Ten of Wands from a tarot deck soon after.
