The previously announced demo of the Resident Evil 4 remake is likely to arrive today, according to a new ad for the game.
Twitch users have been reporting that an ad for the game has been occasionally appearing, which ends with the words “demo available now”.
It appears that the ad has been made active too early, because Capcom is set to air a digital presentation of its upcoming games later today.
It’s all but certain, then, that during the presentation the publisher will announce that the Resident Evil 4 remake demo will be available as soon as the presentation ends.
The Capcom Spotlight presentation will stream later today (Thursday, March 9), starting at 2.30pm PT / 5.30pm ET / 10.30pm GMT with a pre-show 20 minutes earlier.
According to the publisher, the event will feature news on Resident Evil 4, Exoprimal, Monster Hunter Rise, Mega Man Battle Network Legacy Collection, and Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective.
“This is a digital event where we’ll be sharing updates and new information about our upcoming games,” Capcom said.

Resident Evil 4 will release on March 24, 2023 for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, PS4 and PC via Steam.
The game aims to preserve the essence of the original game, while “introducing modernized gameplay, a reimagined storyline, and vividly detailed graphics”, according to Capcom.
Capcom has also announced that The Mercenaries, the popular action-focused game mode seen in numerous Resident Evil games, will be added to the Resident Evil 4 remake as post-launch DLC.
Also on the way isa VR mode for the game, compatible with PlayStation VR2. Capcom stated last month that the VR mode had “started development”.
