Rapper 50 Cent has reignited speculation over whether he's involved with a Grand Theft Auto project and has mentioned «Vice City» on social media for the second time in two days. While there's no clear indication that 50 Cent is in any way associated with Grand Theft Auto 6 or any other related project, the rapper has found an opportunity to capitalize on fans' excitement, and it is undeniably working. Neither Take-Two nor Rockstar Games have made a comment on 50 Cent or the state of Grand Theft Auto as of yet.
On March 1, 50 Cent made posts to both Twitter and Instagram with an image featuring the «Vice City» Grand Theft Auto logo, with the «Grand Theft Auto» part removed. The text of the post was cryptic, saying, «I will Explain this later, GLG,» referring to the Green Light Gang that 50 Cent calls his fans. The post could go on to add, «this **** bigger than POWER trust me.» followed by a bomb emoji and the word «BOOM.» Power is notably a TV show that 50 Cent produced.

A follow-up post from 50 Cent has now been made on Twitter and Instagram. It's once again the «Vice City» logo, but this time photorealistic in neon pink. The post features a television emoji along with the comment, «we working together or are you just ******* around? Big moves only!» There are again mentions of the Green Light Gang, a target emoji, and the message «I don't miss.» In other words, there's no clear message regarding what 50 Cent is teasing.
After the first post from 50 Cent, Grand Theft Auto fans were quick to leap to assumptions. Some believed 50 Cent was teasing a role in Grand Theft Auto 6 and that openly mentioning it on Twitter implied an announcement would be coming soon.
