1923 Season 2 Trailer Marks Harrison Ford’s Return in Yellowstone Prequel
The official trailer for Season 2 of has finally dropped, marking Harrison Ford and Helen Mirren’s return as Jacob and Cara Dutton, respectively. The show is a prequel to the 2018 series Yellowstone.
The first season of 1923 dropped on Paramount+ on December 18, 2022, taking the audience further into the world of Yellowstone. Alongside Ford and Mirren, this popular drama packs a stellar cast, including Brandon Sklenar, Aminah Nieves, Sebastian Roche, and more.
Paramount+ has revealed the trailer of Season 2 of its much anticipated Western drama, 1923, showcasing a glimpse of what viewers are about to witness this season. Ford’s Jacob Dutton and Mirren’s Cara Dutton are the highlights of the trailer as they fight the numerous challenges that are brought upon the ranch.
The trailer also focuses on the fan-favorite couple, Sklenar’s Spencer and Julia Schlaepfer’s Alexandra, as they are separated after the events of the Season 1 finale.
The logline of 1923 Season 2 is given along with the trailer which reads, “A cruel winter brings new challenges and unfinished business to Jacob and Cara back at Dutton ranch. With harsh conditions and adversaries threatening to end the Dutton legacy, Spencer embarks on an arduous journey home, racing against time to save his family in Montana. Meanwhile, Alexandra sets off on her own harrowing trans-Atlantic journey to find Spencer and reclaim their love.”
Following the release of Season 1 in 2022, veteran actor Ford talked to The New York Times about his TV debut through 1923. He said, “I’ve been working pretty much back-to-back, which is not what I normally do. I don’t know how it happened. But it happened.”
Now, he is set to return in Season 2, which will arrive on Paramount+ on February 23, 2025.
