The Legend of Zelda fans want to see the return of the Triforce in a future game in the series after it failed to make substantial appearances in Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom.
When you think of The Legend of Zelda, there are likely many iconic things that jump to mind. Link, Zelda, the Master Sword, heart pieces, Epona, the hookshot… the list could really go on, but I'm not going to sit here just listing Zelda imagery to you. That being said, without a doubt the most iconic piece of imagery that the series has is the Triforce, the golden triangle that first appeared in the original game and has since been an important piece of iconography throughout the rest of the series.

Only, you probably wouldn’t know that if you weren’t a longtime Zelda fan, or at least aware of the series' staples. That’s because, despite its importance to the series, both Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom almost completely leave it out of the plot and barely even reference it at all, instead choosing to focus on new macguffins like the titular Tears of the Kingdom.
The Triforce’s diminished importance in the latest Zelda games is something that’s been noticed by fans, and it seems that they want it to return in the series’ future. Over on Twitter, zxldas shared an image of the Triforce with the caption, “triforce comeback when?? I miss my silly triangles”. In 24 hours, that tweet has already garnered over 14.9k likes, suggesting that a large portion of the Zelda fanbase is waiting for the symbol to make a substantial appearance once more.
