The Xiaomi G34WQi Ultrawide Curved Gaming Monitor is for budget-conscious consumers. It features HDR 10 support, AMD FreeSync Premium, and up to a 180Hz refresh rate all in a 34” WQHD 3440x1440 VA panel. It comes as an upgrade from Xiaomi’s previous iteration, which last saw an updated model released in 2022.
Xiaomi is a relatively new kid on the block for gaming monitors, but they are one of the largest manufacturers of smartphones in the world. Right out of the box, I was impressed with how lightweight the Xiaomi G34WQi was in comparison to my ASUS ROG Swift PG348Q. It was a snap to put together as well, with just four screws holding the base plate to the monitor arm. After which, you just click the arm into the back of the monitor and it’s ready to plug in!
