The Xbox Game Pass Leaving Soon section gives subscribers advanced notice of when games are about to get the axe, even ahead of the official blog post announcement.
Every couple of weeks, Microsoft publishes a new blog detailing what fans can expect from Xbox Game Pass in the next two weeks. This is always an exciting time for Xbox Game Pass subscribers, as it clues them in on what games they will get to play in the near future, as well as what Xbox Game Pass Ultimate perks they can look forward to. But these same announcement posts also highlight the games that are leaving Xbox Game Pass, letting fans know exactly which titles are on the chopping block.
Since the official announcement hasn't happened yet, it's entirely possible that even more games will be leaving Xbox Game Pass on March 31 than expected, but for now, fans can expect at least three titles to get the boot. Sunday, March 31 will be the last day that Xbox Game Pass subscribers can play Hot Wheels Unleashed: Game of the Year Edition, Infinite Guitars, and MLB The Show 23. Anyone interested in keeping access to these games will want to consider buying them between now and March 31, as Game Pass titles are typically available at a 20% discount while they're still on the service.
Hot Wheels Unleashed and Infinite Guitars both earned relatively mixed reviews from critics, but both can be completed rather quick. According to How Long to Beat, it takes less than 10 hours to beat each game, so Xbox Game Pass subscribers can potentially get through them before they're removed on March 31. As far as MLB The Show 23 goes, Xbox Game Pass subscribers don't have much reason to prioritize it over the other games leaving the service.
