Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members can now claim a free three-month trial of YouTube Premium. The offer, available until late June, caps off another perk-filled month for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.
The highest tier of Microsoft's subscription service adds a variety of membership perks each month. Not all of them are gaming-related, and most tend to be available to claim for at least several months. One of the most recent such offers debuted in mid-March, when Xbox Game Pass Ultimate started giving away the Persona 3 Reload Expansion Pass.
The latest freebie to reach the service arrives in the form of three months' worth of YouTube Premium. YouTube's subscription is priced at $13.99 per month or $139.99 annually, placing the value of this perk at between $35 and $42. However, there's one major catch in that the three-month membership is classified as a trial, meaning it's only available to new users. Those with existing subscriptions cannot take advantage of the offer, and neither can anyone who previously activated a YouTube Premium trial on their Google account. This even goes for trials of overlapping and discontinued services, such as YouTube Music Premium and Google Play Music.
YouTube Premium was already once part of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate perks, having originally been offered to Microsoft's subscribers back in late 2021. That particular freebie was also limited to new YouTube Premium users. As for the promo at hand, eligible Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members have until late June 2024 to claim their three-month trial.
This freebie adds to the already extensive list of perks that Xbox Game Pass Ultimate introduced in March 2024. Of those, the ones closest to expiring is the PitCoin Reward pack for F1 23, which is only available to claim until April 1.
