Statue fans, a new statue has arrived at the Blizzard Gear Store. You can now purchase the Black Prince himself to decorate your space. Wrathion is 14” tall, has light-up effects requiring 2 AA batteries, and costs $350. Preorders will ship August 2024.
We know that Wrathion has a part to play in Patch 10.2, but getting the statue treatment is pretty big. Might this mean that he may have a major role to play all the way into 11.0? And if so, might we be taking on his bugbear, the Old Gods?

I will NOT be held accountable for the sins of my father. My destiny will be my own.
Wrathion Statue
Wrathion is one of the few uncorrupted black dragons left in the world of Azeroth. The Black Prince was not conceived so much as he was created, the result of the secret experiment combining the power of a Titan artifact and the interference of members of the red dragonflight. Since his hatching, Wrathion has sought to remove the corruption from his dragonflight and to bring the ultimate end to the Old Gods.
The Wrathion statue is made of polystone and plastic. This statue includes a light feature within the lava beneath Wrathion's feet as he stands atop the armor of a fallen dragon. The statue is digitally sculpted by renowned Blizzard artists Brian Fay, painted by Lewis Nolting, with creative direction from Korey Regan, Ely Cannon, and Dusty Nolting.
