Blizzard previews what players can expect throughout their adventures in WoW Classic's Season of Discovery including a preview at the upcoming Gnomeregan raid. Additionally, the developers teased that the next zone wide PvP event will be Stranglethorn Vale.

WoWCast with Season of Discovery WoW Classic Devs — Summary
- Players can expect to receive their first rune early on in the leveling process around level 2. After that the game doesn't really tell you about additional discoveries.
- Runes are essentially abilities players can find through various means out in the open world. There's 12 per class in the initial 1-25 leveling brackets.
- Blackfathom Deeps Raid was tuned a bit easier for BlizzCon. It's been cranked up a bit for the live release. Rewards were tuned really high for this initial level band.
- Zone-wide PvP event in Ashenvale with the next being in Strangletorn Vale. Trying to enforce some amount of faction balance on Season of Discover servers.
- Focus has been more on fun rather than perfect balance.
- Next level band will be level 25-40. Gnomeregan will be the next raid at 40. Horde will have teleporter from Stranglethorn Vale to Gnomeregan.
