World of Warcraft players have once again shown their community spirit and love of adorable animals, raising over $1.5 Million (USD) for BlueCheck efforts in Ukraine through the sale of two precious in-game pets: Sunny and Flurky.
The Pet Pack for Ukraine was available to purchase in-game or through the Battle.net shop between July 25 – August 29, 2023. The $20/£18 pack included Sunny, a lovable golden retriever who loves to chase her tail, and the baby murloc, Flurky, who leaves a delightful flower trail as he shuffles behind you.
Sunny and Flurky were designed to match the Ukrainian flag, with Flurky even carrying a sunflower — Ukraine’s national flower. As much as I cherish baby murlocs, Sunny’s excitable personality and floppy ears stole my heart the minute she was announced. Sunny is exclusive to retail World of Warcraft, while Flurky is only available in Wrath of the Lich King: Classic.
