I have a bit of soft spot for Wind Rose as during the pandemic when all the heavy metal concerts were cancelled, they took their mining anthem Diggy Diggy Hole and made an a banging EDM version of the track as nightclubs were still open in some countries. Well, they’re back and this time they have teamed up with the video game Deep Rock Galactic for another song about smashing rocks.

The new track, “Rock and Stone” finds the band members being kidnapped by aliens in to the world of Deep Rock Galactic and “it’s not long before the band is called to arms and forced to face down hordes of terrifying Glyhpoid foes in true Deep Rock Galactic fashion to ensure they can keep rocking out.”

Deep Rock Galactic was free on PlayStation Plus a while back and is also available on Xbox and Steam. Season 5 is currently in progress on all platforms, you can check our the details below.
