Wife Paints Incredible Elden Ring-Themed Artwork on Partner’s PS5 Cover
An Elden Ring fan received a lovely gift from their wife in the form of a beautiful art piece painted on the cover of their PS5. Despite its melancholy tone, Elden Ring has become a meaningful title for many players, be it for the narrative, the characters, or the brutal gameplay, and having others recognize that touchingly is heart-warming.
Fans of the action RPG have been making beautiful pieces of fan art since its release in March 2022, giving unique takes on the world and characters in different art styles, including one fan making a piece imagining what Elden Ring animated by Studio Ghibli could have looked like. Less common is when someone else makes a piece of artwork for a fan because the creator recognizes what the game means to them and decides to do something kind for that person.

A Reddit user who received a thoughtful gift goes by the name Abnormal_Toad and is a fan of Elden Ring whose wife painted them a portrait on their PS5's cover. The portrait in question is of Elden Ring's infamous boss Malenia as she winds up for her waterfowl dance attack. What stands out most is the painting's art style, as it is an incredibly well-made piece that was made on a less-than-ideal canvas that retains a rather rustic style that would not be entirely out of place within the game world itself.
