Fans of the action RPG have been making beautiful pieces of fan art since its release in March 2022, giving unique takes on the world and characters in different art styles, including one fan making a piece imagining what Elden Ring animated by Studio Ghibli could have looked like. A Reddit user who received a thoughtful gift goes by the name Abnormal_Toad and is a fan of Elden Ring whose wife painted them a portrait on their PS5's cover. The portrait in question is of Elden Ring's infamous boss Malenia as she winds up for her waterfowl dance attack. What stands out most is the painting's art style, as it is an incredibly well-made piece that was made on a less-than-ideal canvas that retains a rather rustic style that would not be entirely out of place within the game world itself.
