has wrapped filming.
Welcome to Derry is the upcoming HBO television series that serves as a prequel to 2017’s It and 2019’s It Chapter Two. The series initially began filming in May 2023 but was delayed because of the Screen Actors Guild-American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (SAG-AFTRA) strike.
Jason Fuchs, who developed the series alongside Andy and Barbara Muschietti, announced on social media that the prequel series has now completed production. “237 shoot days later…That is a picture wrap on this season of Welcome to Derry,” Fuchs wrote. “Surreal. What a ride. Can’t wait for you all to see this thing.”
