Fans of Vanderpump Rules know that Lisa Vanderpump is a huge animal lover and she is set to host her 6th annual World Dogs Day. Lisa Vanderpump was one of the original cast members of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills and she was known for carrying around her tiny dog Giggy everywhere. When she moved into her mansion Villa Rosa, it became a small sanctuary housing swans and miniature ponies, along with her many dogs.
During Lisa’s time in Vanderpump Rules, she used her influence to bring awareness to the Yulin Dog Festival. She organized protests and parades to stop the practice of raising dogs for slaughter. Lisa eventually opened her own dog rescue organization called Vanderpump Dogs, which is a non-profit sanctuary that provides a safe haven for dogs until they find their forever homes.

As reported by TMZ, Lisa is going to host World Dog Day, which is going to take place Saturday, May 28 in West Hollywood, California. The event will raise“awareness about global dog abuse,” but will also provide fun entertainment such as “live music and a DJ, vendors with doggy treats…also a dog water park, pie eating contest and even a fashion show with dog models!” Lisa told TMZ that the event will bring joy to people amid recent tough times, such as the war in Ukraine, but Vanderpump Dogs is making an effort to focus on positive endeavors.
Lisa shared that the event will take place right behind TomTom, the bar she opened with her Vanderpump Rules co-stars Tom Sandoval and Tom Schwartz.
