Former Vanderpump Rules star Stassi Schroeder is clapping back at the headlines about her Italy wedding to Beau Clark. Stassi and Beau, who initially wed in October 2020, held their second wedding in early May. Just before the ceremony, it was reported that Stassi disinvited her former co-stars from the Rome-set nuptials.
Stassi and Beau, who share 1-year-old daughter Hartford, initially delayed their wedding due to the pandemic. Then in June 2020, Stassi and Kristen Doute were fired from the Bravo series due to racially insensitive actions. The firing repaired their then-fractured friendship. However, Kristen wasn't at the European nuptials, congratulating the couple on social media instead. Speculation ran wild as to why Stassi had uninvited her, on/off frenemy Scheana Shay, and others. Nearly a month after the wedding, Stassi spoke about her big day and slammed the way it was covered in the press.

Stassi and Beau discussed their wedding on the latest episode of their podcast, The Good The Bad And The Baby. Stassi called the headlines about it«trashy» and «tacky.» The author accused the press of «making fun of» her and Beau for cutting their guest list due to budgetary concerns. “It’s called being fiscally responsible,” she clapped back.Stassi, who «lost everything» after her firing, added,«I’m like, ‘Sorry, we’ve been in a pandemic and I lost a lot of jobs and times are tough and I have a baby now.
