Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2 Is Alive And "In Good Hands"
Despite some fears that Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2 may be already cancelled, Paradox CEO Fredrik Wester assured fans that the development is still progressing, and the project is "in good hands."
Originally introduced back in March 2019, Bloodlines 2 might be on those lists of long-suffering games in development to the point where the publisher earlier revealed that scrapping the sequel was indeed on the table. We haven't heard any official news on the project since last year; however, work on the game continues under the helm of the yet-to-be-revealed studio. According to Paradox, players shouldn't have to worry as the company will re-introduce the project when the time is right.

"Bloodlines 2 is in development and we will let you know more when we are ready," Paradox CEO Fredrik Wester wrote on Twitter when answering the fan's question about whether the game is cancelled or not. "The game is in good hands and we look forward to showing you more when the team and the game is ready."
The answer might be somewhat vague, but hey, at least we know that the work on Bloodlines 2 continues. All fans have to do now is to be very patient, as it seems we won't get any more updates on the sequel until 2023.
Wester also clarified that Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2 unfortunately won't appear at this year's PDXCon in September. The event will take place in Stockholm on September 2-3, focusing on Victoria 3, among several other upcoming Paradox projects.
