Valiant's BOOK OF SHADOWS Gets Official Launch Trailer
As the impending release of Shadowman's epic Book of Shadows vastly approaches, Valiant has revealed an exclusive trailer for the upcoming comic. Book of Shadows will serve as Valiant's latest crossover event combining the supernatural forces of the comic publisher's universe. Uniting as the universe's most effective protectors, Book of Shadows will compile Shadowman, Doctor Mirage, Punk Mambo, Eternal Warrior, and Persephone in one major meeting of the minds.
As often with team-up events like this, a common enemy has to bring these distinct, influential forces together. The common enemy in this instance is a threat to the universe that wields the Book of Shadows. Beyond small teases like that in previous press releases, not much is known pertaining to the plot of Book of Shadows beyond all the Valiant heroes it's uniting, and not much has been seen regarding the series' art. Until now, that is.

Book of Shadows #1 by Cullen Bunn and Vicente Cifuentes hits local comic book shops and digital stores starting July 27th, 2022. Before that though, readers can enjoy the premiere trailer for Valiant's latest event below on Youtube. Although brief, the trailer showcases some absolute bone-chilling imagery, in what very well could be a promising limited series overall. In addition, the trailer teases a rare glass variant cover that some lucky collectors will be able to buy upon its July release.
