A new prequel comic series to the upcoming video game Gotham Knights has revealed the first look at Batman's new Batsuit that he will sport in the series. In the first look at Gotham Knights — Gilden City #1 by DC Comics, a newly announced six-issue miniseries, Batman's character design is revealed. The Dark Knight gets a new Batsuit that feels familiar but looks even more tactical than his usual costumes.
At San Diego Comic-Con, DC Comics packed in some exciting announcements, including the current Dark Crisis series becoming Dark Crisis on Infinite Earths, a new crime-noir series exploring the early days of Gotham City, and Punchline starring in her own comic where she takes over for the Joker. One of the more under-the-radar reveals was a new prequel series for the upcoming video game Gotham Knights. The comic will fill in the gaps of what happened to Batman in a world without the Dark Knight, as the announcement also showcased the newest Batsuit the hero will wear.

In a brand new preview of Batman: Gotham Knights — Gilded City #1 by DC Comics, fans of the upcoming Gotham Knights video game will get a chance to read about the universe's Gotham City before the death of Batman. The prequel from Evan Narcisse, Abel, and Greg Capullo, will focus on Batman's final case, as a mysterious virus infecting Gotham City turns its people into violent and angry looters. Batman will work alongside the Gotham Knights to stop the virus as they learn more about a similar virus from the 1800s and one of Gotham's first vigilantes, the Runaways.
