Update 43 for The Elder Scrolls Online is now live for PC/Mac players to test. The update adds new content to the Infinite Archive, Improvements, and the new Home Tours feature.
The ESO team recently released details on the new features coming to the base game with this update, which will be out on August 19th on PC and Mac/September 4th on console. Home Tours is a highlight for those who love player housing and all of its potential. With the number of items to collect and display having grown, No surprise that some might want to show off their creations to others.
With Home Tours, You can browse top player homes in a special recommended tab or you can search for homes owned by players you know, your friends and guildmates, or even filter using different criteria like themes. The system is designed for flexibility, since players can add their own labels for the theme they're going for and others can search for themes. This system is designed for growth and recognition is possible since you can favorite a number of homes and recommend some per week to others. With this flexibility in the system, having it on the PTS makes sense.
The update’s other big addition is a bunch of new content for the Infinite Archive. The new content includes new maps, new enemies, new verses, visions, and new and updated loot. the loot includes some new class item sets. Some of the loot also includes a chance at consumables that offer you transformations. The Corpseburster class set for Necromancers, detonates the corpses that your skills consume. Talk about making an entrance. There are additional sets to discover.
Since this is a base game update between the big Gold Road Chapter release and larger content launches, there’s much emphasis on quality of life improvements. All of these are available to test with more in the PTS patch notes.
