EA Sports recently revealed its rankings for all the athletes in , revealing which Safeties the company considers the best in the league. Safeties are a very important defensive position in the NFL, as they help provide additional coverage downfield to help with pass coverage or prevent running plays from getting too far. This is an especially vital position in and other football games because it is a little easier to pull off ridiculously long passes in the game than it is in real life.
Since having a good Safety is essential for defense, players will want to be aware of which teams have the best players. Fans of the NFL are also likely curious to see which players EA decided to rank as the best in the league. As was seen with some of ’s other rankings, some fans aren’t fully on board with EA’s rankings for their Safeties. It will be interesting to see if these rankings shift after has been released.
Madden NFL 25 has both a Standard and Deluxe edition with some slight differences. The game also has some additional bonuses for pre-ordering.

The top spot for Safeties in went to Jessie Bates III who joined the Atlanta Falcons in the 2023 season following five seasons with the Cincinnati Bengals. Bates likely earned the top spot thanks to his excellent ability to stay on top of the ball. Not only can he shut down plays, but he was also one of the best at intercepting the ball last season. Players challenging the Falcons will need to be very careful where they throw the ball.
Antoine Winfield Jr. and Minkah Fitzpatrick are not surprising runners-up.
