An unused Dive to the Heart design featuring Alice in Wonderland has been discovered in the files of Kingdom Hearts Final Mix.
One of the most iconic scenes in the whole of the Kingdom Hearts series is the Dive to the Heart, which features Sora drifting through darkness and landing on stained-glass platforms featuring Disney princesses. It's happened several times throughout the Kingdom Hearts series, although it's since been changed to feature Kingdom Hearts characters instead of Disney princesses.

An interesting piece of trivia about the Dive to the Heart sequence is that it was originally going to feature Alice from Alice in Wonderland as one of the princesses featured on the stained-glass platforms. This was spotted in a design document all the way back in 2015, with a unique design that featured Alice, although it was thought to have never gotten past the design stage.
However, as reported by KH13, Twitter user TheDaguar actually managed to find the Alice Dive to the Heart texture within Kingdom Hearts Final Mix back in 2017, although fans are only just discovering the original Tweet now. The design document version of the platform was very hard to see and it was near impossible to make out the areas surrounding Alice, but this texture makes it much clearer and we can now see characters like the White Rabbit surrounding Alice, as well as playing cards around the border of the platform.
Although the Alice in Wonderland platform didn't make it past the original design document for the game, it's interesting to note that it was clearly textured for the full release of the game and must have been cut much later into development than
