Unholy Death Knight: Analysis of the 9.2 Tier Set Bonuses - More Valuable Outside Execute

In last week's PTR build 41827, Unholy Death Knight received a rework for their 9.2 Tier Set bonus! Our Unholy Death Knight Guide Writer, Bicepspump, has provided an updated hands-on look at all the recent changes to the Unholy Death Knight Tier Set bonus including not being entirely tied to the execute health ranges. Additional tuning is expected in the coming weeks.

Unholy Death Knight Tier Set Bonus Changes 2-set:   Every 5 Clawing Shadows or Scourge Strikes casts Soul Reaper on your target Soul Reaper grants your pet 20% attack speed for 10 seconds.and summons an Army of the Dead ghoul for 15 seconds. 4-set:   WheneverYour minions deal 5% increased damage. When Soul Reaper's secondary effect triggers, summon an Army of the Dead ghoul.this bonus increases to 20% for 8 seconds.

The Unholy Death Knight tier changes quite significantly, spreading its power out more evenly throughout any given fight (instead of being almost purely focused on execute). It has also removed the risk of using Soul Reaper outside of execute, and spamming Scourge Strike/ Clawing Shadows blindly within execute. I believe the changes are good overall, but the current tuning doesn't quite hit the mark. We'll do good damage in execute, but otherwise not so much.
