If you’re into dark fantasy games which have epic battles, then Daeri Soft has a new game for you that you might want to try. It’s called Dark Sword – The Rising. If the name rings a bell, that’s because it’s based on Dark Sword and has been developed by the same team.
It’s a world drowned in darkness, with the ominous shadow of the Dark Dragon looming over everything. Cities crumble, heroes are gone and people have lost all hope. So, you play as the last warrior to reignite some much-needed hope.
The game is an idle game, so it collects items and boosts your progression even when you’re not active. On the art side, it sticks to the same silhouette art style that made the original game pop. Except that this one has more dynamic hack-and-slash action and probably a better combat system.
There are 36 skills in Dark Sword – The Rising, ranging from Meteor Storm to Soul Breaker. You can even upgrade them for extra power. Collecting these skills also gives you stat boosts, so experimenting with different setups can really pay off.
There’s the Dragon Heart where you fight dragons. The Daily Dungeon dishes out unique challenges and rewards every day, while the Ancient Treasury is like a jackpot of gold, experience and gear. Hell’s Forge and Temple of Awakening are filled with resources and awakening stones. Then there’s Traces of the Gods, where you can craft stigmatas to gain more power.
The gear in Dark Sword – The Rising is also great. The Inferno Set bathes your attacks in fiery lava vibes. The Lightning Set cranks up your speed and power with lightning energy. And the Blizzard Set freezes enemies in place. There’s even a Fever Mode where your character just goes berserk.
If you want to dive into the Age of Darkness, then grab the game from the Google Play Store.
